Telangana Govt's Failure to Follow WHO Guidelines Resulted in Huge Spike in Covid-19 Cases TPCC Chief

Telngana Congress President and Nalgonda MP Uttam Kumar Reddy on Tuesday said the spike in Covid19 Cases was purely due to the failure of the TRS government to effectively handle the situation as it did not follow the ‘trace, test and treat’ norm of the World Health Organisation (WHO).

It was unfortunate that chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao went missing from action for 13 days at the peak of Covid-19 pandemic. So far, the chief minister has not given an explanation as to why he went missing from the scene especially after giving an indication that another lockdown may be imposed to control spread of Covid-19,” he said.TOI
