Decision on Telangana School Reopening to be taken soon, Engineering Colleges to reopen by August 17

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has announced that the academic year for the Engineering Colleges across the state will begin from August 17, 2020, while the final decision for reopening the schools will be taken in the state soon.

The decision was informed through an official release issued from the state chief minister's office which states that a meeting was conducted with the officials at Pragati Bhavan on issues related to the education sector due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Means were discussed to strengthen the government educational institutions of the state. The decisions which have been taken for the education sector were announced after the meeting was conducted.

The state chief minister has also urged the administration to conduct workshops on the present situation of government schools, colleges, and other government educational institutions. The workshops must include measures to be taken for making the educational institutions upgrade the standards of education. He has also instructed the officials to conduct a meeting with the educationists and experts for their opinion
