The Dabeerpura police have booked a case against TS Wakf Board chairman Mohd Saleem for allegedly threatening a Muslim religious scholar Syed Hamed Hussain Shuttari.
A few days ago, Hussain Shuttari had lodged a complaint against Mohammed Saleem alleging that he was threatening him and defaming him when he questioned the board about 10 acres of land at Pahadishareef. Hussain Shuttari had claimed that there was no land at Pahadishareef and the TS Wakf Board is misguiding the community.
However, Saleem at a press conference refuted the allegation of Hussain Shuttari and said that there was adequate land at Pahadishareef.
Hussain Shuttari then approached the Dabeerpura police and made a complaint against Saleem alleging that latter was threatening and defaming him.
“Based on a complaint made by Hussain Shuttari, a case under Section 506 (criminal intimation) against Saleem,” B Anand Kumar, ACP Mirchowk, said Telangana Today
